Wild Cards Season 3 streaming details, cast details and more

Wild Cards Season 3 is available for streaming on CBC Gem for viewers from Canada. US viewers will have to wait for the series to release, as there is still quite a lot of time for the second season to drop. It cannot be denied that the intensity, which is a constant element in the third season of this series, adds to the overall intrigue.

Vanessa Morgan is back as Max Mitchell, delivering a stellar performance in the first episode of Wild Cards Season 3. In the first episode, Max goes through difficulties because of Cole and her mother. In the previous season’s finale, Max’s mother, Vivienne, arrived at her doorstep fifteen years after her disappearance.

Tamara Taylor helms the role of Vivienne in the series and truly does an impeccable job in bringing forth the urgency that Vivienne comes with. Giacomo Gianniotti is also back for his role as Cole in this season. However, Cole has gone through numerous changes during the time he was away.

After coming back, he is proven innocent and gets his job back by the chief. He is tasked with the case, and Max becomes his partner. Though Max was expecting to focus more on their relationship, she finds that Cole is now with someone else, which adds to the complexity.

In the first episode of Wild Cards Season 3, Amy Goodmurphy’s performance as Yates also leaves an impact. The incessant cases that the department now has to solve begin to create mental pressure on her. Terry Chen is also back for the third season of the series as Chief Li.

His performance adds subtle humor along with a distinct intensity, which is a constant in this series. Some of the other cast members of the first episode of this season include Jordan Birch, Fletcher Donovan, Karin Konoval, Abby Ross, Jason Schombing, etc. At the end of the first episode of Wild Cards Season 3, Max finds out the reason her mother has come back.

It is revealed that Vivienne was actually hiding from Gedeon Varga because she stole from him. Gedeon Varga is a dangerous man who does not forgive anyone easily. Hence, she had to hide so that he would not find out about her true identity, which could eventually put their lives in danger. However, now Varga is aware of her true identity, so he asked her to return her money.

Though there is certain skepticism about the timing of Vivienne’s return, as Max’s father just achieved a huge amount of money, they have no other choice. Varga’s right-hand man, Tomo Hayashi, gives them a choice to either return 130 million back to Varga or steal a diamond for him; everyone they care about will be dead. The second episode of Wild Cards Season 3 will further explore this complication.
