Wild Cards Season 3 sets premiere date: Here’s when the police drama will return on The CW

The date for Wild Cards Season 3 is now all set. After the events of the second season, where things were definitely taking a complicating turn for Max and Cole, the eagerness to see where their paths lead is at an all-time high.

Besides her situation with Cole, the second season also ended with an interesting development related to Max’s past. So, Wild Cards Season 3 will have to answer all the questions that were left unanswered in the previous season. The new season of Wild Cards will arrive next year on January 26 at 8 PM ET.

However, the news of the renewal came with more than one surprise. CBC picked up the series not just for the third season but also for the fourth season.

Hence, it can be understood that Max and Cole’s story will have a lot to offer. The series dives into the unique dynamic between a cop and a con woman. Cole is tasked to bring Max in after he gets demoted. While Cole is transferring Max, her wit and intellect come in handy to solve a case that the department was investigating.

As a result, a unique bond was created between Max and Cole. Each of them got the opportunity to redeem themselves by joining hands to solve cases. This marked the beginning of the series. For two seasons, the two of them navigated through many situations together. At the end of the second season, Max finally solves the mystery.

While they are celebrating, George tells Max that she needs to go to Cole. Right when Max is about to leave the house to go to Cole, her mother arrives. On the other hand, Cole is waiting for Max. He thinks about her arrival, doubting whether she will come or not. In the end, he sees that she is not coming. Eventually, he decides to leave.

It cannot be denied that the series perfectly blends the aspects of mystery with thrill in a distinct manner. Wild Cards Season 3 will pick up after the events that the second season left off with. However, it must be noted that there will be a gap of one month between the events of the second season and the third.

In Wild Cards Season 3, Max will be navigating through the new developments in her life. This is especially related to the arrival of her mother. This is because she believed that her mother was dead. Hence, her arrival in her life will bring in a certain level of complication. On the other hand, Max’s dynamic with Cole will also be seeing some new developments in Wild Cards Season 3.

Tamara Taylor will be joining Wild Cards Season 3 as Max’s mother, Vivienne. Besides, Tamara Taylor and Vanessa Morgan will be back to take on their role as Max. It cannot be denied that she handles the complex character of Max in a distinct, authentic manner. Her emotional highs and lows definitely resonate deeply.
