NCIS: Origins is all set to come back with its second season. With only a few hours left for the next season to arrive, the anticipation keeps on building regarding the cliffhanger of the first season. The first season of NCIS: Origins ends with a major cliffhanger about a character’s life. Special Agent Cecilia "Lala" Dominguez’s life is hanging by a thread.

While discussing the second season and Lala’s fate, Austin Stowell might have revealed some secrets. Though the manner in which the accident happens, chances of survival are slim to none. However, it cannot be denied that Lala is a crucial character in the series. She is also the romantic interest of Gibbs. Hence, the chances of her survival are quite high.

Austin Stowell indicated that “coming back into the workplace” would definitely not be a quick thing for Lala, and she would need to take “baby steps”. He added that there are going to be “adjustments”. His words definitely point out that Lala is alive and she will make a comeback. However, before even rejoicing the fact that Lala could make a comeback, the NCIS: Origins star adds that it is all “hypothetical” in case Lala survives.

Stowell’s carefully chosen words indicate that there is more to the story than he is ready to reveal for the time being. He definitely knows how to raise the eagerness and anticipation. Lala’s distinct nature truly complemented Gibb’s personality. It cannot be denied that there is much that can be explored if Lala returns, especially in the aspect of Lala and Gibb’s relationship.
