Will Brady and Brie finally get back together in Virgin River Season 7? Brady (Ben Hollingsworth) and Brie (Zibby Allen) are the beloved will-they-won't-they couple of Netflix's critically acclaimed romantic series Virgin River, adapted from Robyn Carr's series of eponymous books. Earlier this year, the show was renewed for its eighth season, making it the longest-running scripted show on Netflix.

The star cast is gearing up for the release of Virgin River Season 7 and fans cannot help but wonder what the future holds for Brady and Brie. While the couple has seen many ups and downs throughout the years, they finally caved in and slept together (while being in different relationships) in the Season 6 finale.

Ben Hollingsworth recently caught up with US Weekly at the Netflix House Philadelphia VIP Housewarming Party, where he expressed faith in the couple's romance. The actor assured his fans that Brady and Brie will survive all odds:

“From day 1, it’s been an uphill battle for them...But they do have something. They have this chemistry — this magnetic pull together. Against all odds, they’re going to figure something out and they’re going to survive.”

More on this in our story.

Here's what Ben Hollingsworth teased about Brady and Brie's future in Virgin River Season 7

While Mel and Jack finally found their happily ever after in Virgin River Season 6, Brady and Brie remain the show's forever will-they-won't-they romance. The couple's fans had almost lost hope after they started dating different people, but their surprise night in the Season 6 finale is one of the highly anticipated plot points for Virgin River Season 7.

To recap a bit, Brie was having second thoughts about her relationship with Mike, which led her to Brady's door and the ex-couple shared an intimate night. Brie was already on a high of emotions when Mike suddenly proposed to her, which led to her honest confession about her night together with Brady. To her surprise, Mike had known about her infidelity but chose to propose to her anyway. Even Brie's cheating did not deter Mike's faith and love for her, which makes him a solid love rival to Brady in Virgin River Season 7.

While Mike proved that he genuinely loves Brie and is ready to move past her 'mistake', Ben Hollingsworth is not concerned for his character. Brady and Brie have been the show's most popular romance and Virgin River Season 7 will explore the aftermath of their night together. The actor revealed:

“I personally don’t think that Brie’s heart is necessarily with Mike. You’ll see both of them trying to navigate what this new normal looks like. Whether it involves Mike or not is really something that [you have to wait and see].”

Brie and Brady could reunite in Virgin River Season 7

Ben Hollingsworth's comments suggest Virgin River Season 7 can finally reunite Brady and Brie. However, they still have a long way to go before they become the perfect couple. In addition to Mike's proposal, which shocked Brie to her core in the Season 6 finale, Lark cheated on Brady and ran off with his money.

Before starting a relationship with Brie, Brady will have to deal with the aftermath of Lark's betrayal. Hollingsworth teased how Brady's character will undergo a huge transformation in the upcoming season, before he mends things with Brie. He said:

“Brady just wants to be the best version of himself. Part of that is trying to give Brie space to figure out what she wants and let her come to him. I think that’s very hard for Brady to do.”

While it's hard for Brady to lose control, this could be an important step in the couple's relationship, one that would prove that they are meant to be endgame in Virgin River.

Virgin River Season 7 wrapped filming in June 2025 and will return on Netflix in early to mid-2026.
