Haunted Hotel has officially been renewed for a second season by Netflix, according to a recent report from Netflix's Tudum. This means fans will get to witness more horrifying adventures in Katherine and the kids' lives.

The adult animated show released its first season only a week ago, on September 9. It introduced the world to this little family, who move into the Undervale Hotel, only to get sucked into a nightmarish reality where horrors seem to have no end. However, it isn't all jump scares, since there are plenty of jokes and silly gags throughout the season.

Matt Roller, known for his work on Archer, Rick & Morty, Krapopolis, Community, and Speechless created the show. The official plot synopsis for its first season, according to Netflix, read:

"A single mother of two struggles to run a haunted hotel with the help of her estranged brother, who is now one of the ghosts haunting the hotel and thinks the other ghosts have some pretty good ideas."

The voice cast includes comedic stars like Eliza Coupe (The Residence), Skyler Gisondo (Superman), Will Forte (The Last Man on Earth), Jimmi Simpson (It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia), and Natalie Palamides (Apocalypse Clown).

Let's look at what else we know about this comedy-horror show, as it has gotten renewed for a second season.
