With another year of Charlie Morningstar and his messy, musical moments, fans are already hyped up for Hazbin Hotel Season 3. The two part finale gave an end to the show's second season, and to fans' delight, the show will be returning for two more seasons as it's been renewed for season three and four in 2024.

It's not yet known if the upcoming seasons have a release window so far, but we do have some details on what to expect for the show's third round. Erika Henningsen will be returning as Charlie Morningstar, alongside Stephanie Beatriz's Vaggie. Series creator Vivienne Medrano has also confirmed the return of Jeremy Jordan as Lucifer, who is Charlie's father and more of the cast from the first two seasons are expected to join.

As for the premise of Hazbin Hotel Season 3, Medrano has dropped a few hints about what to expect. Speaking to Polygon, the creator stated,

“The Rosie and Alastor deal is the first stepping stone in a much bigger story that involves so much, moving into season 3. Obviously, that is a perfect question: How is she that powerful? The answer could be many things, but the answer is in season 3. I’m very excited for people to see it.”

Radio Times too, exclusively reported that Hazbin Hotel Season 3 will focus more on the Morningstars. Medrano spoke to the outlet and stated,

“I don't think it’s too much of a spoiler to just say season 3 is really the Morningstar season. Lucifer is one of my personal favourites, so anything to do with him and all the relationships he has that develop throughout the show to me are some of my favourites.”

Hazbin Hotel started as Vivienne “VivziePop” Medrano’s passion project, and it has grown into one of the wildest success stories in modern adult animation. It is an American adult animated musical comedy that follows Charlie Morningstar, the crown princess of Hell, who decides she’s done watching Heaven’s yearly “Extermination” wipe out sinners to manage overpopulation. Instead of accepting endless violence, Charlie imagines a hotel where demons can work toward redemption and eventually earn a place in Heaven. Most people think her idea is unrealistic, but she’s too determined to let that stop her.

In the series, Charlie’s mission is supported by Vaggie, her devoted girlfriend and the hotel’s manager, along with Angel Dust, a weary adult film star who unwillingly becomes the first guest. Their attempt to promote the hotel on live television goes off the rails, but it grabs the attention of Alastor, the Radio Demon, who offers his help purely because he finds Charlie’s optimism entertaining. With angels like Adam leading Heaven’s purges, Charlie knows she’s taking on an impossible task, but she pushes through anyway.
