Ms. Marvel, which released its first season on 8th June 2022, introduced us to Kamala Khan, aka Ms. Marvel, for the first time. The second time we saw her was in The Marvels, which came out in 2023. Since then, Kamala Khan hasn't appeared in any MCU project.
Since it's been almost three years since the first season of Ms. Marvel came out, there is a doubt whether Marvel will even bring the show back. At the time of its release, the show did well, and viewers accepted the young superhero with open arms. But her prolonged absence from Marvel projects makes the chances of a season two appear less and less.
ScreenRant recently interviewed Aramis Knight, who played Red Dagger in Ms. Marvel. When ScreenRant asked him if we'd get to see more of Red Dagger, the actor's answer wasn't a positive one, and what he said next about the future of the MCU show was slightly disappointing as well.
Ms. Marvel may not return for a season two
Ms. Marvel follows a sixteen-year-old girl, Kamala Khan, who loves Captain Marvel and soon also gets cosmic powers of her own, thanks to a magical bangle that was her family heirloom.
The show stars Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan, Matt Lintz as Bruno Carrelli, Rish Shah as Kamran, Yasmeen Fletcher as Nakia Bahadir, Zenobia Shroff as Muniba Khan, and Aramis Knight as Red Dagger. Other cast members include Mehwish Hayat as Aisha, Fawad Khan as Hasan, Nimra Bucha as Najma, and Farhan Akhtar as Waleed.
When ScreenRant asked Aramis Knight if viewers have seen the last of the Red Dagger, Knight said,
I wish not, but I think so.
This answer already doesn't bode well, given the fact that Knight played Red Dagger, a prominent member of the cast, who would most likely reprise the role if the show returns for season two.

When the interviewer follows up by asking if Knight means there will be no Ms. Marvel season two, Knight said,
"I don't think so. I mean it's been a long time now, so I am not really sure. I mean I would love to. I was supposed to make appearances and other things but it didn't end up working out and some logistical stuff and COVID stuff and I think also creative stuff. But I mean that was also an amazing show, but I dunno, I'm still waiting for the call to be honest."
While an actor of the cast saying a second season of Ms. Marvel may not happen doesn't make it official, it does sound disappointing. The show did well regarding story, Kamala's powers, and visuals. She has grown to become a favourite. Ms. Marvel/Kamala Khan will be dearly missed if the show gets canceled.
However, there is some hope that we haven't seen the last of the show yet. In Daredevil: Born Again, episode 5, With Interest, Yusuf Khan (played by Mohan Kapur), Kamala's father, made an appearance. Yusuf Khan was shown to be the manager of the bank where Matt Murdock goes to acquire a loan for his firm's expansion. Yusuf talks about his daughter in the episode as well, telling Matt about her.
It would be strange for Marvel to randomly bring back Yusuf Khan in a project if they don't intend to make a second season of Ms. Marvel.
Since there's no official announcement by Marvel, we cannot confirm if Ms. Marvel season two will be happening or not. There's still time, and it could happen, given Yusuf Khan's appearance in Daredevil: Born Again and the fact that Marvel has a lot on its plate right now. But as Aramis Knight said, it also may not happen. We won't know until Marvel confirms either.
Both Ms. Marvel and The Marvels are streaming on Disney+.
