Daniel uncovers that Kath Sharman is the killer. Kath’s past was connected with Philip Kerling. She did it all to save her sister from getting caught. Her sister, Dora, saved Kath from Philip but ended up killing him. To protect Dora from getting caught, the two of them planned to mislead everyone by spreading the rumor that Philip Kerling escaped.

The very talented Matthew Lewis takes on the role of Daniel in Murder Before Evensong. He handles the emotional struggle that Daniel goes through while navigating the challenge of finding the truth perfectly. Matthew Lewis truly did a commendable job in bringing out the essence of his character in an authentic manner.

It cannot be denied that being in the entertainment industry since his childhood prepared him to be able to take on any role and deliver the performance with perfection. Along with Lewis’s performance in the series, Marion Bailey’s performance as Kath truly left a lasting impact. All Kath wanted was to protect her sister from getting caught, and for that, she was prepared to go to any extent. Marion Bailey’s performance shines bright with a distinct authenticity.
