Later, when they are able to finally catch him, Randall reveals that he is not Lester’s killer, but there is more to the story.

LESTR, the robot, corroborates Randall’s claims, and a video clip shows that Lester killed Nicky so that he could save the houses of the residents. He did not want the residents of the building to lose their homes. At the end of the episode, Howard finds a major clue that connects Nonna to the case. The episode ends with the trio confronting Nonna about the missing finger.
