What happened in The Chair Company Season 1 finale?

Season 1 finale leans into absurdity with complete confidence. The episode starts with a wedding, but the calm lasts only a minute. A shooting follows. And the hour sets the stage for a new storm around Ron Trosper, who wants nothing more than a quiet life.

Ron spends most of the episode trying to distance himself from the Tecca conspiracy. He tells himself he's done. He promises Barb he'll keep things simple. But the universe has different plans. His job hangs in the balance. His son shifts his career preferences overnight. His friends grow unpredictable. Even the dog walk takes a supernatural turn, sending him into a stranger's shed and a moment so bizarre that Ron begins to question his own senses.

The energy changes completely when Ron meets Jeff for drinks. A casual karaoke night becomes the turning point of the season. Ron recognizes Jeff's singing as the same tune that plays on Tecca's helpline. Ron sneaks into Jeff's office and finds hidden documents that tie Jeff directly to the Red Ball Market Global. It's a clue Ron never expected and the one that blows open everything he believed.

In the final moments, things turn way too thrilling. Ron finally comes face-to-face with the caller. When the stalker removes his mask, all we see is a plastic-like face. He gives a wild explanation about why Ron's chair broke. He reveals that he's Amanda's boyfriend. He explains that Amanda has telekinetic powers and she's able to break things just like she did with Ron's chair. Why? The story goes back to Ron's high school days when he was playing with a gummy bear, and it fell on Amanda's cleavage by mistake. This made Amanda extremely uncomfortable. The episode ends with the man pouncing on Ron.

Season 1 ends with a dash of a supernatural twist, but it leaves us with more questions than answers. To know what happens next, viewers have to wait for The Chair Company Season 2
