After I Think You Should Leave with Tim Robinson season three came out in 2023, there has still been no confirmation regarding a fourth season. I Think You Should Leave with Tim Robinson is a Netflix sketch comedy series created by Tim Robinson and Zach Kanin.
While the show hasn't been cancelled either, no confirmation of a fourth season is not exactly great. But Akiva Schaffer, one of the executive producers on the show, has shared a positive update about season four.
I Think You Should Leave with Tim Robinson season four update
I Think You Should Leave with Tim Robinson is a sketch comedy that was released on Netflix in 2019 and has had three seasons so far. The show has independent episodes, each one with a different story. Over the seasons, actors who have appeared on the show are Zach Kanin, Sam Richardson, Patti Harrison, Conner O'Malley, Tim Heidecker, Will Forte, Andy Samberg, Fred Armisen, Vanessa Bayer, Beck Bennett, Kate Berlant, Julia Butters, Ayo Edebiri, Paul Walter Hauser, Bob Odenkirk, Cecily Strong, Jason Schwartzman, Brandon Wardell, Fred Willard, and Steven Yeun.
The series is produced collaboratively by Lonely Island Classics, Irony Point, and Zanin Corp. Other than Schaffer, Lonely Island member Andy Samberg, Irony Point members Alex Bach and Daniel Powell, Jorma Taccone, Becky Sloviter, Tim Robinson, and Zach Kanin serve as executive producers.
It seemed like a season four of the show was highly unlikely until Akiva Schaffer spoke to Collider, giving a positive update. He said that season four is most likely happening; it's just going to take time because Kanin and Robinson are busy working on an upcoming HBO show, The Chair Company.
Schaffer said,
"They have a deal, and they've been writing sketches, but they also have the HBO show, and they’ve got to finish up that season. So, I don't have a date or anything like that, but just know there are sketches that I have not read that they have written."
He continued,
"They want to do it, and Netflix wants it, so it will happen. It's just that they are doing this season of this HBO show. They’ve got to wrap that up, and then, I'm assuming, they'll switch gears back to it."
The Chair Company is an upcoming HBO comedy series that will follow William Ronald Trosper (played by Tim Robinson), who, after an embarrassing incident at work, investigates exaggerated conspiracies. The show is created by Tim Robinson and Zach Kanin, who also executive produce alongside Andrew DeYoung, Adam McKay, Todd Schulman, and Igor Srubshchik.
The rest of the cast includes Sophia Lillis as Natalie Trosper, Will Price as Seth Trosper, Joseph Tudisco as Mike Santini, Lake Bell as Barb Trosper, and Lou Diamond Phillips as Jeff Levjman. The show is set to be released sometime in 2025.
Thus, perhaps after Robinson and Kanin get some time off from their HBO series, they will get back to I Think You Should Leave with Tim Robinson. We, however, still can't confirm a season four until Netflix releases an official statement. But as Schaffer said, the chances are high.
The first three seasons of I Think You Should Leave with Tim Robinson are streaming on Netflix.
