After all episodes of The Copenhagen Test were released on Peacock on December 27, 2025, viewers might be wondering if The Copenhagen Test Season 2 has been confirmed. As far as official announcements go, the show hasn't been renewed for a Season 2. But there are multiple factors that need to be considered here.

The show follows Alexander Hale (played by Simu Liu), an intelligence analyst who is accused of being a mole in The Orphanage, the organisation he works for. Turns out, his brain has been hacked and the hackers have access to everything he sees and hears. While the season ends with the revelation of who hacked Alexander's brain and why, the ending lays down the foundation for Season 2. Here's everything we know about The Copenhagen Test Season 2.

Will there be The Copenhagen Test Season 2?

As far as most shows go, there is potential for The Copenhagen Test Season 2 as it ends with Alexander getting two choices: keep working for The Orphanage or walk away. But either way, he will always be hacked, only now, a neural has been implanted in him, which will let him control which of his senses are being made public. We learn that Victor Simonek, a mentor and family friend of Alexander, hacked his brain, and he isn't the only asset whose brain was hacked.

Alexander managed to prove that he did not betray The Orphanage or his country, but actually was the one betrayed by everyone. Victor hacked his brain, Schiff exploited the hack to get to St. George, Rachel was directed by Victor to give him pills, and Michelle was planted by Parker, who works for The Orphanage, to test Alexander's loyalty. Alexander has been betrayed by almost everybody and treated more as a subject than a human being. Thus, he doesn't know whom he can trust anymore.

The Copenhagen Test Season 2 hasn't been officially confirmed yet, but there's still time for Peacock to make a decision. The show has just premiered and the reviews are still coming in. Created by Thomas Brandon, the spy thriller has a good story, but has received average reviews till now. It has a Rotten Tomatoes score of 75% on the Tomatometer, which isn't exactly great, but the Popcornmeter score is yet to come in, which will determine if viewers have enjoyed it.

It goes without saying that since the show blends spy thriller with the science fiction element of one's brain being hacked, there are a lot of plot points, incidents, details, and characters in the show, which can be confusing to follow at times. The Copenhagen Test Season 2 is a possibility story-wise because there is still a lot about Alexander the show can explore. Besides, Victor is a character we've just met as an antagonist, but there's surely more to him than that.

Thus, there is definitely a story to be explored if The Copenhagen Test Season 2 gets confirmed, but given the Rotten Tomatoes score and overall average reviews, we can't confirm if the show will get renewed. We have to wait and see if Peacock decides to bring back the show for a second season.

The Copenhagen Test stars Simu Liu as Alexander Hale, Melissa Barrera as Michelle, Sinclair Daniel as Parker, Brian d'Arcy James as John Moira, Mark O'Brien as Cobb, Kathleen Chalfant as St. George, Sara Amini as Ellie, Saul Rubinek as Victor Simonek, and Hannah Cruz as Rachel Kasperian, among others. The show is executive produced by James Wan, Simu Liu, Jennifer Yale, Thomas Brandon, Jet Wilkinson, Mark Winemaker, Michael Clear, and Rob Hackett. Production companies behind the show are Atomic Monster, Bully Pile Productions, and Universal Content Productions.

All eight episodes of The Copenhagen Test are streaming on Peacock.
