Ever since Tulsa King’s spin-off, NOLA King, was announced, fans have been excited to see Samuel L. Jackson’s foray into the Sheridanverse. The new series will be set in New Orleans, where a mafia capo, Russell Lee Washington Jr., builds an empire, just like the one built by Dwight Manfredi in Tulsa.

Russell will be introduced in an episode of Tulsa King before having his own spin-off show. The cast members of the original series have now talked about whether there will be a crossover between the two shows in the future.

Actors Frank Grillo and Garrett Hedlund, who star in the show as Bill Bevilaqua and Mitch Keller, respectively, recently had an interview with Collider. During the conversation, they teased that both shows would crossover, not just for one but multiple episodes.

Frank Grillo revealed that Samuel L. Jackson has already started shooting for his part in Tulsa King, the image of which has officially been shared on social media handles. He added that Samuel and Sylvester Stallone could keep crossing paths in the franchise:

“You know, I think there could be, depending on how our season pans out, but for those two (Sylvester Stallone and Jackson) especially, I think it would be silly if there wasn't some kind of crossover for two, three, four episodes. And Sam is in our show, it's on Instagram, it's not giving anything away.”

Meanwhile, Garrett Hedlund showered praises on Samuel, emphasizing how he has been a part of numerous films in his career. He further said it would be "crazy" if the makers do not come up with crossover episodes of the two shows:

“He [Samuel] is just one of these guys who are great actors, and they're consistent in their careers, decade after decade. And then they become these iconic artists, and Sam's one of them. There's an Instagram post introducing Sam to the world of Tulsa King, and it's a photo of these two giants of acting. They'd be crazy not to do it.”

NOLA King revolves around Russell Lee Washington Jr., who was in the same prison as Dwight Manfredi for 10 years, where they became friends. However, the Renzetti crime family from New York wants Russell to hunt down Dwight and end his control in Tulsa.

Instead, Russell gets inspired by his friend’s empire and decides to move to his hometown of New Orleans, where he aspires to establish control. Samuel L. Jackson is currently the only confirmed cast member in the spin-off. The show is likely to begin production in February 2025.

Meanwhile, Tulsa King Season 3 is gearing up for its premiere in September this year. The new season will continue Dwight’s journey, and he will have to face some new and deadly challenges to keep control over the city. The show also stars Andrea Savage, Martin Starr, Jay Will, Max Casella, and Vincent Piazza in pivotal roles.
