Wizards Beyond Waverly Place Season 2: All new and returning cast in the sequel season of the Disney show

Wizards Beyond Waverly Place Season 2 is scheduled to premiere on the Disney Channel on September 12, 2025, with the first episode, and will then air the next episodes weekly on Wednesdays till October 8. The entire second season will be available for streaming on Disney+ from October 8.

Wizards Beyond Waverly Place is the sequel and spin-off of Wizards of Waverly Place, which follows Justin Russo fifteen years after the final events of the original show. He is asked by his sister, Alex, to train Billie, a wizard-in-training. Justin was living a regular life without magic with his wife, Giada, and their two sons, Roman and Millo, when Alex asked him for help. Justin revived his powers and decided to help Billie.

Wizards Beyond Waverly Place Season 2 will pick up after the events of season one, except this time, Billie isn't the only wizard-in-training. Roman and Milo have just discovered their magical powers, and now Justin has to train all three of them. As the show returns for its second season, some new actors are joining the returning cast.

Wizards Beyond Waverly Place Season 2 new and returning cast

Wizards Beyond Waverly Place Season 2 will be returning on September 12, 2025, and its main cast will return as well. Some new actors are joining the cast in guest roles along with Selena Gomez, who is reprising her role as Alex Russo for season two as well.

The new cast for Wizards Beyond Waverly Place Season 2 includes Freya Skye as Piper, Harvey Guillén as Gossip Stone, Tobias Jelinek as Lord Morsus, Recker Eans as Quentin, Kirsten Vangsness as Bigelow McFigglehorn, Patrick Bristow as Wiz M.D., and Eleanor Sweeney as Bella Bianchi.

If you were a fan of Wizards of Waverly Place, you will recognize the other three actors who are set to appear in guest roles in Wizards Beyond Waverly Place Season 2. Bill Chott, who played Mr. Laritate, and Sean Whalen, who played Mantooth in the original show, are going to reprise their roles in the sequel's second season as well. Amanda Tepe, who had played multiple roles in the original series, will be seen in a guest role in a Christmas-themed episode in season two.

The returning cast of Wizards Beyond Waverly Place includes David Henrie as Justin Russo, Mimi Gianopulos as Giada Russo, Janice LeAnn Brown as Billie, Alkaio Thiele as Roman Russo, Max Matenko as Milo Russo, and Taylor Cora as Winter. Selena Gomez will be returning as Alex Russo in a guest role.
