Wizards Beyond Waverly Place Season 3 has become more than just a want after that cliffhanger at the end of Season 2. Throughout the two seasons, the sequel has been teasing the truth about Billie's identity without actually revealing anything. The seaseon 2 finale finally confirms the one truth that has been escaping everyone for so long.
The Wizards Beyond Waverly Place Season 2 finale finally confirmed that Billie is Alex's daughter, but this reveal opened another Pandora's box of questions. This reveal has brought with it a whole new set of burning questions, making the third season a necessity.
Here's why Wizards Beyond Waverly Place Season 3 needs to happen at any cost.
Wizards Beyond Waverly Place Season 3 needs to happen to answer these questions
Wizards Beyond Waverly Place wrapped its second season, and all ten episodes are now available on Disney+ for fans to stream. However, you should be prepared that by the end of this season, you might find yourself heartbroken and full of questions.
The end of Wizards Beyond Waverly Place Season 2 finds Alex Russo sacrificing herself to save her daughter from her grandfather's evil intentions. While the revelation that Alex is Billie's mom brought tears of joy to all our eyes, watching Alex's sacrifice was even more heart-wrenching. This sacrifice has brought with it a host of questions for Wizards Beyond Waverly Place Season 3.
`1. Is Alex Russo really gone from the world of the Wizards?

The Season 2 finale featured Alex tackling Billie's evil grandfather into a rift that he had opened to trap Billie in. So, even after remembering her family and finding her mother, Billie isn't able to be with her mother for longer than a few moments.
The rift connecting their world and the dark world could only be closed from the inside, trapping Penwolf and Alex inside, so the family accepts that Alex is gone. But, this is the wizard's world, and maybe Wizards Beyond Waverly Place Season 3 will find the family trying to bring back Alex from the dark world.
Either way, Season 3 needs to definitively address Alex's fate in the sequel.
2. Will Damian Penwolf return to the picture now that the memory curse has been lifted?

The Season 2 finale revealed that Alex performed a memory curse on herself, Billie, and her family in order to make everyone forget that Billie is her daughter. It is also revealed that this is Damian Penwolf, Billie's father's idea to protect Billie from his own father, the evil Nicodemus Penwolf. So, in all probability, he was also under the same memory curse, and since there was no mention of his death in the season finale, he must be alive.
Now that the memory curse has been lifted, revealing the truth about Billie's origins, there is a chance that Damian Penwolf, Billie's other parent, might seek her out in Wizards Beyond Waverly Place Season 3.
3. How will Billie react to the loss of a parent?

If Alex really is gone forever, one of the biggest questions that Wizards Beyond Waverly Place Season 3 will have to address is how Billie deals with this reality. Having spent so long trying to find out where she came from, it is a shock to Billie when she finds out that she is Alex's daughter and Justin's niece.
However, no sooner does she find this out than she has to watch her mother sacrifice herself in order to save Billie. This is a heartbreaking incident for the teenager to deal with, so her newfound family will have to step up in order to help her through these emotions.
4. What will happen to Quentin after Roman's spell?

While Quentin initially started out evil and planned to gain Billie's trust on behalf of Lord Morsus, just to betray her, by the end of the second season, he ends up developing real feelings for her. Eventually, he confesses the truth to Billie, betraying Lord Morsus, and is captured by him. Billie tries to protect him, but when Roman and Milo get there to find Billie with Quentin in his orc form, Roman instantly banishes Quentin to the "Nowhere Zone" to protect Billie.
Wizards Beyond Waverly Place Season 3 needs to address this heartbreaking incident and bring Quentin back.
4. Will Billie be forced to compete against the family she has just found?

The Wizards Beyond Waverly Place Season 2 finale revealed that Billie is a Russo, and being Alex's daughter, Roman and Milo are her own brothers. The original Wizards of Waverly Place established that only one of the siblings would be allowed to keep their magical powers, and which one would be decided by the family wizard competition.
Throughout the show, Justin has been training the kids for this competition, especially since Roman and Milo got their powers. So in Wizards Beyond Waverly Place Season 3, Billie might be forced to compete against Roman and Milo, the brothers she has just found out are her family.
Wizards Beyond Waverly Place Season 3 will have to answer these burning questions, so the show needs to be renewed for another season full of chaos and magic.
