WWE: Unreal, a behind-the-scenes Netflix docuseries narrated by Paul Michael Levesque, most popularly known as Triple H, has dropped its trailer. The trailer is narrated by Triple H, who has won the WWE World Championship fourteen times and is the current Chief Content Head of WWE.

The trailer for WWE: Unreal begins with somebody asking Cody Rhodes,

Physically, how are you?

Rhodes responds,

Terrible. But my legs work, my spine is not hurt, my neck is not hurt, and I don't have a concussion. So those are my prerequisites for not complaining.

That sets the tone for the rest of the docu-series as it highlights that despite serious injuries, athletes keep going and prioritize the sport over themselves. Next, Triple H takes viewers into the writer's room, showing us the behind-the-scenes of the business.

About WWE: Unreal

After we hear from Cody Rhodes, Triple H begins his narration by saying,

For people that think, "Isn't that just a bunch of guys pretending to fight?" When you see the behind the scenes, I don't know how you can't fall in love with the business.

We can tell from this that the docuseries will aim to show us the inner workings of the business, how each event is held, how each wrestler is managed, and what they go through. This docu-series will also hopefully help viewers understand how the business is run, and as Triple H says, show that it is more than just fighting.

The rest of the trailer includes snippets of athletes like The Rock, John Cena, and Rhea Ripley at their respective events. It shows us that even the toughest fighters are human beings at the end of the day, and they have their own stories to tell.

The trailer's description on YouTube summarises the docu-series as:

In an unprecedented turn, WWE takes us behind the scenes - into the writer's room and the homes of their greatest Superstars - to show the year-round work it takes to execute one of the most secretive shows in the world week over week. And when the curtain falls down, the business of getting a show to air is just as compelling as the Main Event.

Directed by Chris Weaver, the WWE: Unreal will have five episodes, of fifty minutes each. The episodes are named as: New Era, Push, Worth the Wait, Heel Turn, and WrestleMania. Omaha Productions, NFL Films, Skydance Sports, and WWE have produced the show collaboratively. The show has been executive produced by Peyton Manning, Jamie Horowitz, Ross Ketover, Keith Cossrow, Ken Rodgers, Jessica Boddy, Lee Fitting, Ben Houser, and Marc Pomarico.

Erik Powers serves as showrunner. According to Netflix, in WWE: Unreal, we will get to see interviews and behind-the-scenes footage of wrestling athletes Cody Rhodes, John Cena, Rhea Ripley, CM Punk, Jey Uso, Bianca Belair, Chelsea Green, Charlotte Flair, and Xavier Woods.

In a snippet of Rhea Ripley's statement, we get a hint of how WWE builds stars. Rhea says,

This was the biggest show of the year, I'm, like, freaking out, and then as soon as my music plays, I'm Rhea Ripley.
