The latest episode of Love & Hip Hop: Miami on VH1 turned up the drama as Princess and Amara clashed over rumors involving Princess’ husband, Ray J.
Things came to a head at Angela’s party, where tensions boiled over in classic reality TV fashion. The reality show, known for capturing the personal and professional lives of hip-hop artists and industry figures in Miami, did not disappoint with this episode either.
The confrontation began with Princess's cutting remarks to Amara:
"I mean you have a lot to say to my husband. Anything to say to me? If you don't have anything to say, then you can go back outside because I would rather not look at you."
Miami allegedly informed Love & Hip Hop: Miami cast members Zoey and Angela that Amara and Ray J were "messing around," which sparked speculations about their supposed relationship. One of the most intense conversations of the season resulted from this discovery, which happened when Princess and Ray J were still having marital issues.
Love & Hip Hop: Miami's Princess confronts Amara yet again
What started as an attempt at a conversation quickly spiraled into a verbal sparring match. When Amara tried to explain herself, Princess responded with mockery, making "sad violin sounds" and cutting off any attempts at clarification.
The exchange grew increasingly personal, with Princess taking jabs at Amara's relationship status and jewelry.
"Give it to your baby daddy who was married when you got with him," Princess sneered, referencing Amara's past.
The situation reached its boiling point when Amara delivered a calculated response:
"I mean I'd honestly rather be single than to have what you have as a husband."
Princess fired back:
"You're single, you don't have a choice, nobody wants you,"
To which Amara delivered the final blow:
"That's not true. Because he [Ray J] wants me... He wants everybody but you."
Prior to this explosive confrontation on Love & Hip Hop: Miami, Princess had already expressed her frustrations to Brooke about the situation.
"People get what they deserve, you don't mess with people's marriages," she had stated, defending her previous physical altercation with Amara.
The situation became even more complicated when Princess revealed that Ray J had allegedly visited Amara's house, making crude claims about the encounter.
Amara, for her part, maintained her innocence throughout. In a confessional, she insisted she had no "sexual contact with Ray J" and felt she was being used as a pawn in the couple's marital problems.
"They're both using me as a pawn in their fight, and I don't like it," she explained.
The aftermath and what’s next for Princess and Amara
Princess called Amara "trash," threatened to have another physical conflict, and warned that she "could get slapped at any moment" as the confrontation came to a close. Deeper rifts in Princess' friendship with Brooke, who had urged Amara to go to the party in the hopes of settling the dispute, were also exposed in this episode of Love & Hip Hop: Miami.
Unexpectedly, Princess acknowledged that although Ray J's actions were upsetting, she wasn't particularly offended by them. She said, "I already knew what kind of person Ray J was," saying that Amara's apparent betrayal was more painful than her husband's behavior.
The consequences of this altercation and how it affects the relationships of the other members of the cast will be further explored in the upcoming episode.
The ongoing conflict can be seen on Love & Hip Hop: Miami Season 6, which premieres new episodes on VH1 every Monday at 8:00 PM.
