1000-Lb. Sisters star Amy Slaton is in huge trouble with the law right now, as fans are seeing. In the most recent episode, she was called to court for her hearing. She is being charged with possessing drugs in her vehicles while her kids were also inside. Her boyfriend, Brian, was also arrested for the same.
The Slaton family, however, is quite worried about Amy's well-being and mental health. They also want her to take the charges seriously and not try to get out of them. Chris, Amy's brother, was trying to make her aware of the situation and how, if things went wrong, she could end up in jail for several years.
In this 1000-Lb. Sisters' scene, where Amy's father and sister come to pick her up for court, she is wearing a checkered black shirt with black hair and purple highlights, black stockings, and black shoes.
Seeing her appearance, Tammy quips,
"B*tch, you look like Wednesday Addams."
Not fazed by the remark, Amy replies,
"I thought I was more farmer's wife, but okay."
Hearing this, Chris let out a subtle grunt of laughter but did not show. However, Amy picked up on it and said that she does not know how to pick up an outfit for a court hearing because she has never been in trouble with the law before that much.
She also revealed how troubled her mind has been thinking about this court appointment. Chris agrees and says that she should be serious about the charges because they will be permanent and could harm her reputation, and in the worst case scenario, may even send her to prison.
1000-Lb. Sisters' Amy Slaton was arrested for possession of drugs
It all started on 1000-Lb. Sisters when Amy and Brian decided to take the kids to the drive-in zoo and feed some animals. As they were having a joyous time doing so, a hungry camel bit Amy's arm from the window.
It was brutal as she started losing blood and needed immediate medical care from the doctors. Brian called an ambulance as her family was informed of the case.
Amanda rushed to take the kids in while Amy was being tended to, but could not help but laugh at the situation. She was shocked that a camel would ever bite someone.
Later on, 1000-Lb. Sisters, Amy provided the backstory of what had happened. Turns out, when a person calls an ambulance, a police car accompanies them. This car, however, searched Amy and Brian's vehicle and found drugs. The fact that her kids were present inside made matters even worse.
In the hospital, Amy was arrested, but she did not know the full extent of the reason. As soon as the cops started reading her rights, she was shocked and questioned why she was getting arrested when the camel had bitten her.
All of this happened around September last year, and it was reported by news outlets that Amy had pleaded guilty to all charges in December 2024.
