The main cast members aren't the only ones getting all the love. Fans of That '70s Show must have recognized Topher Grace in the trailer playing a shady businessman. As shown in the trailer, he welcomes Harlan and Cane Buckley to his

"humble opium start-up."

Fans of Grace have shown excitement over seeing him in the trailer. Besides, the fact that the show has been written and executively produced by Kevin Williamson, who also created Dawson's Creek, has brought in a lot more happy reactions from fans. One fan commented:

Wondering what to expect from The Waterfront? Well, Kevin Williamson, the writer and executive producer of the show, told Tudum by Netflix:

“This is about a working man who’s trying to make a go of it for his family. They’ve pulled themselves up from nothing and they’ve built this mini fishing empire in their small little town.”

He continues:

“Now it’s being taken away from them bit by bit. They’ll do anything to hold onto it, because it represents their family.”

The Waterfront arrives on Netflix on June 19, 2025.
