Motorheads season finale sees a lot of unexpected twists and turns. Zac and Caitlyn are finally able to make their father (Christian Maddox)'s car ready after a lot of effort and help from Marcel and Curtis. On the other hand, Ezra Martinez gets released from prison and plans another big heist with Ray, his daughter, and Harris - this time, the target is the exclusive car collection of Alicia's father.
Zac, after having beaten Ray in his latest race, reaches the peak of his confidence and gears up to face Harris for one last dance. However, an unknown track gets the better of one of the drivers, and the race ends on a cliffhanger. Does Zac actually beat Harris in the Motorheads finale? Let's find out more.
Who wins the final race in Motorheads finale?
As we see in the Motorheads Season finale, Zac visits the track (where he plans to race against Harris) with Marcel and checks it out. The two best friends are able to find some potholes and bumps on the road, and Zac spots them using landmarks.
Moreover, with the final touch of paint having been given to Maddox's yellow Challenger, the crew awaits to take it out for a spin before the showdown.
However, Logan learns about Zac's secret plan to race Harris (from Ezra), and right before the face-off, he takes the car away to Ray's garage. Switching to a parallel story, Ezra's daughter has been able to convince Harris to help them with the big heist.
But Alicia's house is a fortress, and breaking into the car showroom without the passcode is impossible. When Ezra and Ray try to involve Logan in their operation to break in and steal cars, Zac saves him at the right time and provides the password that the robbers would need to go inside (and obviously it's Alicia's birthday, which Zac luckily remembered).
Right before Ray is about to hit the road for his big robbery, Zac confronts him to take his car for the race. But he still has to convince Harris to abandon the heist and come to the track. Next, the scene shifts to Ezra and his gang breaking into Alicia's house.
They use the passcode to enter the showroom and pick one car each. As we see in the Motorheads finale, the four of them (including Harris and Ezra's daughter) storm out in the premium sports engines and successfully complete the heist.
As Harris flees the site of the robbery with his associates, he gets a text from a number reading:
"PICK UP. LISTEN. DON'T SPEAK."
It's Zac's voice that convinces him, saying that he is much better than what he is doing, and also says it's always been him v/s Harris.
So he invites him to the track for one final race. Surprisingly, as the sun goes down, we see Harris reaching the starting line, where Zac was already waiting for him in his dad's yellow Challenger.
Zac asks:
"What are we racing for?"
To this, Harris smiles and replies:
"Legends don't need trophies."
Zac smiles back at him, and the two of them rev their engines. On the count of three, we see the two protagonists hitting the gears and racing on the track.
What eventually unfolds is a highly intense and competitive drag race as the 'Motorheads' get their much-awaited face-off! It seems like a close call between two of the best drivers of Ironwood, as we see one take over and the other matching him up the very next moment.
But one advantage Zac had was that he knew the track inside and out. As the race reaches its climax, we see Zac keeping a keen eye out for the landmark on the road where there was a big pothole. However, Harris doesn't know that, and he accidentally gets caught in it.
As he applies the brakes to control the turmoil, Harris' car goes off track and crashes in an adjacent field, upside down. Seeing this, Zac stops his car and runs out, but by that time, we see Harris' car already going up in flames from the bottom.
We don't get to witness what happens next in the highly intense Motorheads finale, and the scene shifts to Logan's house, where Caitlyn is seen sleeping. She suddenly wakes up to a call, and the number is from a caller from Spider Lake, Michigan (a place that is connected in history with Christian Maddox). This is where the scene ends and leaves the entire Motorheads Season 1 in a cliffhanger.
