This week was a lot to take in, and Fridays are big moment days, but during the week, we had some pretty big ones as well, like, where did Sheryl (Kiara Liz Ortega) suddenly come from? Have there been sparks earlier that we missed? I’m sure I would have commented if so, but out of nowhere, two mystery colleagues of Derek's (Ben Gavin) show up to help him move, and he gets to make out with one of them. It was great to see Derek in a scene with someone he has chemistry with; there is real promise here if they decide to make this more than a one-off.

And we are quickly progressing other elements in the story too, Naomi (Arielle Prepetit) and Jacob (Jibre Hordges) just got some concrete proof that Hayley (Marquita Goings) is sketchy, not just hearsay or a feeling. Hayley and Jacob saw a text on her phone while they were looking at Hayley’s slideshow of the property in St Barts that Bill (Timon Kyle Durett) bought for her. The message was from a pharmacy, and Naomi said she recognized the abbreviations and that Hayley was on the contraceptive pill. The couple argued over whether to tell Bill. That should never have been in question, but Naomi was more interested in bringing up Jacob, not telling her that Derek had feelings for legs than discussing how they were going to tell Bill that Hayley was playing him.

With this realization, all these threads are being connected, and we are going to see some explosive situations. When Hayley feels threatened, it will be interesting to see how far she will go. But if I had to pick one scene to call the scene of the week, it would be the one with Ted (Keith D. Robinson) and Kat (Colby Muhammed). He was telling her that she had become accustomed to a lifestyle she wholly took for granted. This couldn't be further from the truth, and it was nice to see Kat being told in a respectful way that she’s being a little princess and needs to stop.
