It was nice to have a whole week after the Thanksgiving holiday, and we got some really great scenes, and tbh my absolute fave was the one with Ted (Keith D. Robinson) and Shanice (Ernestine Johnson) trapped in the elevator. We got to see both characters chilling in an elevator after they became stuck. Yup, the same elevator that had Ashley (Jen Jacob) and Andre (Sean Freeman) deliver a baby together when they were stuck with a pregnant woman. The elevator has the power to bring people together, and it happened again. The chemistry was great, the dialogue real and believable. Ted, you can tell, quite like Shanice, and the looks the pair gave each other were electric. Wouldn’t this be a twist? Leslie (Trisha Mann-Grant) told Carlton (Robert Christopher Riley) they have something in common, both wanting to make sure that Ted and Nicole (Daphnée Duplaix) never find their way back together. Now, it looks like she has another ally in that cause. Do we want to see Ted and Shanice together? I would champion that cause, mainly because I don’t want to go back to seeing Ted and Nicole together.

Quote of the week: Shanice to Ted while trapped in the elevator, “I’m a church going girl, but I can still turn up in the club when the spirit moves me, amen.”

This is going to be a big week on our favorite sudser: Bill Hamilton (Timon Kyle Durrett) goes down. He is found unconscious on the floor of the office by his wife, Hayley (Marquita Goings). Winterfest is in full swing and the community is out to show up for it. We have an exceptional performance from Keke Wyatt as well. Jacob (Jibre Hordges) and Naomi (Arielle Prepetit) seem to find their way back to normal, and Marcel (Darryl W. Handy) tries a charm offensive on Leslie Thomas, against better advice from his Police Chief. And we a re looking forward to the arrival of Greg Vaughan on our screen as the new Doctor, Kial Rollins.
