Beyond the Gates Daily Y.A.P.P for Tuesday, December 16th:

Welcome to the Beyond the Gates Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What Happened on Beyond the Gates

Today, Anita came home from her biopsy, and if she thought she was keeping it well under wraps, she would be mistaken. The rest of the family hasn't put two and two together or anything, but you cannot pull the wool over the eyes of all of the Duprees at once. Vernon was the first to detect that something was off with his wife, Anita, then downplayed it as if she had moved on from Winterfest, and now she has to wrangle the beast that is the Dupree Family Chrostamas. Vernon, you could tell he knew his wife well, and when he saw her, lost in thought, staring out the window, he knew something was up.

Dani then had a conversation with her mom and was definitely caught off guard when Anita told her that they didn't have favorites, but that she would always be her daddy's little girl, and that she should see to him. Like making little hints that she may not be around? Preparing her? Well, that ought to be a red flag, and it was to Dani. The sooner the family catches on to this, the sooner they can rally around their matriarch. The Holiday Spoilers mentions a health crisis that leaves all the Duprees reeling and the little clues have been left like breadcrumbs for us.
