Beyond the Gates Daily Y.A.P.P for Wednesday, December 10th:
Welcome to the Beyond the Gates Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:
What Happened on Beyond the Gates

Well, that's what I wanna know too. Dr Kial Rollins came in all smooth to Winterfest on his debut performance as Nicole’s plus one. The dialogue was great, and this was some great Greg Vaughan character work. What happened today? Did someone tell him, heh, you are going to be in scenes with the great Dr. Nicole Dupree (I’m sure she's axed the Richardson part from her name by now), and tell him how it goes with men and Nicole? In between takes, did they emasculate him?

No wonder the Dupree women feel righteous in their belief that they are superior; the men let them. Praise them when they actually do a good job. They have praise heaped on them for nothing sometimes, and give them an overinflated sense of self-worth. For the love of all things soapy, please let Kial be the man who is a challenge for her, someone who makes her wanna be the best woman in the room. Don’t, for heaven's sake, do not make him like they made Doug before his demise. Give him a spine. Nothing wrong with chasing the woman you are after, but don’t just be like the rest and fawn over her like she’s the second coming.
