Beyond the Gates Daily Y.A.P.P for Wednesday, December 11th:
Welcome to the Beyond the Gates Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:
What Happened on Beyond the Gates

We have got to get off this train ride before it becomes another train wreck. I’m talking about the Derek and Ashley merry-go-round. But first, let’s get to the revisionist history once again propagated by a Dupree. Ashley and Naomi were sitting at Uptown having a wee chin wag, and Naomi was asking if it was awkward leaving her at Winterfest and answering questions from her mother, Dani. Ashley said she had made her bed and had to lie in it, right? Well,l Naomi came out and said it wasn't Ashley's fault, she didn't know that Andre and Dani were serious.

Um. Yes, she did because Naomi sat her down after the breakup and gave her chapter and verse of why she needed to stay away from Andre. Yes, it is her fault, and quit it with the convenient amnesia. Seriously. As for Derek wanting to go the friendship route with Ashley and see if they can find a way back, I was feeling Jacob's reaction and wanted to slap Derek myself. You want to start moving on? Then move the heck on! Jacob was on point, especially with the advice to have the right intentions with Sheryl, or he’ll bring his mess to work. Jacob is being a solid bro.
