Beyond the Gates Daily Y.A.P.P for Tuesday, December 9th: Joey saves Vanessa from Anastasia , the human equivalent of a Pop-up ad

Welcome to the Beyond the Gates Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What Happened on Beyond the Gates

Vanessa has been putting on one heck of a performance right?! The scenes at Winterfest where she was getting drunk and trolling everyone, poking her tongue and blowing a raspberry at Leslie, simply hilarious. It was not a one off bit of humour either, today we see Vanessa in fine form again, after having a blow up with Joey and storming out of the Casino. Vanessa was still unhappy about Joey not wanting to mix business with pleasure in public, she told him that they should pause their personal relationship. Joey just said,”OK” and let her walk out.

At the Country Club. Vanessa was chastised by the most awful woman in Fairmont Crest, no not Leslie, and not Nicole. Anastasia. She enters the room like a suppository: uninvited and immediately uncomfortable. Vanessa in her drinking persona gives it right back and makes funny faces at her behind her back as she leaves. Then the menace is back after Vanessa joins Dani and Andre. Anastasia hovers like a government drone that runs on white wine and judgement instead of batteries. But there to save the day, is Joey. He arrives at the Country Club, walks straight over tom VAnessa who is gobsmacked, Joey tells her that he is there to make a scene, and be seen, with her. The two command the rooms attention as they passionately kiss. Bravo Joey, bravo.
