Beyond the Gates Daily Y.A.P.P for Tuesday, January 7th:

Welcome to the Beyond the Gates Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What Happened on Beyond the Gates

Tyrell dropped some truth bombs on Nicole and put the cotillion in perspective, and Joey got in bed with Leslie, well, figuratively speaking. Joey financing Leslie’s project could be the wisest move he’s made all year. Hear me out. What if he is financing her with dirty money, so that she will go down for it? Marcel gets to make a big arrest, and they all live happily ever after. Except Eva, of course, but one has to break eggs to make omelettes.

This could be the big arrest that Marcel would like to close out his career on a high note. In all honesty, I think we are going to go through our lives watching Beyond the Gates and never see Leslie pay one bit of mind to the worry that she might get arrested and actually face consequences for her actions involving Laura. It is fun watching the back n forth between Leslie and Marcel, she has met her match there, and the banter is witty, and he gives as good as he gets, plus it’s good to see another male on the show who doesn't bow and scrape in subervience to the female partner he has.
