Beyond the Gates Daily YAPP Recap, June 11: Bill feels broken and Dani and Nicole break stuff

Welcome to the Beyond the Gates Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What Happened on Beyond the Gates

While Bill Hamilton was in the hospital, struggling with being mortal and being in the hospital, Dani had an idea to cheer Nicole up and get her thinking about things from a different perspective…by breaking stuff. Bill’s hand strength in his right arm was very much below where it needs to be, but it's the looking weak in front of people that is really getting to him. Between Shanice and Hayley, Bill has had enough of people and is probably welcoming a Dani distraction. Dani, however, is busily showing Nicole the therapeutic benefit of busting stuff, like the Greeks smashing crockery.

Dani and Nicole hurl several mugs each into the floor, even hooting and hollering, “Skankarooni” as they do. Nicole soon gets into the swing of things and is smashing mugs like a pro, much to the delight of Dani, who gives her expert advice on how to hold and throw and even attach a face to the mug so you can really unleash. Back to the hospital and back to Bill, he provided quite the comedy relief as he protested and was made to smile, and as much as it was to check for signs of stroke symptoms, seeing his forced smile and then returning to the grimace sure did put a smile on my face.
