Welcome to the Beyond the Gates Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:
What Happened on Beyond the Gates

It’s Friday, and big things happen on Fridays! Today was no exception, Derek proposed to Ashley after all the worry from Ashley that Derek wanted to break up with her in public so a scene wouldn't be made, happy, happy joy joy. But the real point of interest to me today was Martin and Vernon at the Country Club. Once Vernon had shut up and let Martin get a word in, he learnt that Martin's dreams were now in his waking thoughts too. Martin kept hearing that voice ask him, “Let's see what color's your money.” Vernon, who knows all too well what all of this is about, kept it to himself but told Martin that they must maintain the status quo.

They have done the impossible and kept it quiet for so long. Martin assured Vernon that he wouldn't contact any of the therapists that Nicole had provided a list of. With Smitty doing research into Marcel Malone, we will get a journey back in time to when the auto parts robbery happened and Joey was seen paying off a suspect, and shortly after, paid off Marcel as well. To close out Friday, Vernon excused himself to take a call with Anita and Kenneth, the mystery man appeared right behind him and said into his ear, “Let's see what color's your money.” Martin was jaw-droppingly horrified, and that's where we leave off… Gotta love the way this storyline is burning along.
