Welcome to the Beyond the Gates Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:
What Happened on Beyond the Gates

Today, we saw Anita Dupree open up her set of drawers in a National Treasure kind of way and found a hidden drawer recessed below a drawer. From that secret compartment, Anita took an old envelope addressed to Anita Williams Articulettes. What came next was as shocking to listen to as it was to watch. Anita took a letter from within the envelope, and we heard a narrator's voice read it aloud for us, obviously intended to be the letter's author herself. The letter described the Articulettes as having four, not three, members, and it being someone else's and not Anita's group. The author shared how she watched from the sidelines as the group she started rose to fame and fortune, and she was shunned. Anita has read this letter many times as she knew it by heart enough to place it down and read it aloud alone. The letter ended with the mystery fourth article stating that if Anita was reading this, it was because she had left this world, hopefully to a better place, and that was on Anita. Anita then broke down, wailing and sobbing. Wow, I still think there is more to this, but that was a huge revelation and a reminder that the Duprees are not all sunshine and moonbeams. Speaking of painful memories...
