Welcome to the Beyond the Gates Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:
What Happened on Beyond the Gates

Well, today was a stroke of genius on Kat’s part, not using stroke as any kind of pun either. Kat went around to see Leslie, under the guise of an olive branch offering, or truce of some sort. Promising to stay in her lane if Leslie stayed in her lane. Now I was thinking, what are you up to, Kat? Surely you’re not admitting defeat? Nope, Kat proved to be as resourceful as her namesake Katlock, well, the name I’m giving her LOL. Anyway, Kat used this opportunity and the distraction of a phone call that took Leslie's attention to unlatch and open a window slightly. For what? To break in later! And sure enough, as soon as Leslie met Tomas at Orphey Gene’s, Kat returned and let herself into Leslie's apartment, wearing gloves. Still, I dare say that lovely woolen top would have left enough fibres behind for CSI to build a toy poodle and identify the apartment as being Kat's.

Once inside, Kat removed the motorcycle helmet and gloves that she had lifted from Eva’s hotel room, hid them in a storage bench, and carefully buried them under some pillows. She closed the lid and replaced the laundry hamper with the product placement du jour, a bottle of Tide, and completed the picture. Then Kat left where she came. The true genius was meeting Jacob and convincing him to get a second search warrant for Leslie's apartment, because where better to hide evidence? Exactly where the police have already looked and deem clear. Boom, look out, Leslie, you really underestimated Kit Kat Brat.
