Beyond the Gates: Beyond the Gates Daily YAPP Recap, May 13th: Frankly, sir, I don't give a damn

Welcome to Beyond the Gates Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What Happened on Beyond the Gates

Today on Beyond the Gates, Joey presented Doug with an alternate way to make his payments to him — steal from Vanessa's real estate company. Doug refused, but how many options does the guy really have at this point? Joey seemed too poised to go Sopranos on Doug, but if he doesn't pay him back his money, we all believe that he will. Joey threatened Doug again for good measure and let him know that he has one week to come up with the money he owes him, with interest. Doug, of course, protested that he couldn't possibly come up with that kind of money without gambling and that's when Joey basically hit him with "Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn." Joey warned Doug that he'd better have his money, or else. On that note, Joey made his dramatic exit, and Doug stood there dumbfounded...or just dumb. Look, Doug, Joey isn't just trying to get Vanessa's money, he wants to bed her! How do you not see this? I know, I know, you're fully aware that Vanessa has been tap dancing outside of your marriage, but Doug, seriously. He's dug himself an impossible hole. Perhaps, he should listen to Joey (partially) and ask Vanessa for help because otherwise, Joey's gonna be paying him the type of visit that he doesn't want. After all, if Joey can threaten his faithful acquaintance, Randy's family, he definitely won't even think once about making Doug and Vanessa disappear. Tread carefully with your next moves, Douglas. We'd like you to stick around.
