Beyond the Gates Daily YAPP Recap, May 16: Kat and Jacob go after Leslie

Welcome to the Beyond the Gates Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What Happened on Beyond the Gates

After the debacle of the anniversary party, all eyes are on Kat Richardson as she single-handedly goes after Leslie. Today, she took her recording of Leslie in her father's hotel room to the next person she could trust, Detective Jacob Hawthorne (Jibre Hordges). Jacob is Naomi’s husband and has a soft spot for Kat. After messaging Jacob that she needed to see him ASAP, as she had something huge to tell him, I wondered how this would go; would the evidence be seen as such, or just be disregarded as enthusiastic but amounting to nothing? Well, it was close. Jacob listened intently as Kat played the recording, and Jacob summed it up as hearsay, and Leslie could just say she was being sarcastic. Jacobs asked for the file to be emailed, and Kat implored him to listen to it again. Kat was adamant that it was no coincidence that Laura had run off the road, Leslie and Eva had just arrived in town, and Eva needed to be close to Nicole. Something mudt have stood out, either on the tape or in the camera footage that the police had of the incident because Jacob headed around to leslies house and interrupted her watching a horror movie and told her once she had opened the door and made fun of him, that he required her down at the station. Please make something stick before Leslie can ruin anyone else's life.
