Welcome to the Beyond the Gates Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:
What Happened on Beyond the Gates
After watching today's episode, it would be so easy to go in on Kat again, or Chelsea, even Naomi, seriously. The levels of entitlement and projection are unreal with these two. But I promised myself that I wouldn't go on the offensive against those two today, nor against Ashley. Andre Richardson is the focus today. What is this man hiding? He really doesn’t want to be Insta-famous. He mentioned the word ‘risk’ and the phrase ‘despite the risk’ several times today, and we didn't miss a single mention. Dani caught on when she reexamined the selfie Andre sent from the departure gate and confronted him upon arrival, saying the trip was off. She knows he is absolutely stacking himself at the thought of being all over magazines and billboards, etc, but why? My working theory is that, in his career as a photographer, he took a picture of something he was not meant to see, something no one was meant to see. Those people want to keep that image from seeing the light of day; if it does, it will lead people right to his door —and Dani’s —and, by extension, put the Duprees at risk.
