Beyond the Gates Daily Y.A.P.P for Monday, November 3rd: Sharon is Vernon's secret meet and Leslie and Eva have a heart to heart
Welcome to the Beyond the Gates Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:
What Happened on Beyond the Gates
On a day with some really great moments, we are going to have to cover a few of them. Really enjoyed watching the heartfelt moments between Eva and Leslie. That conversation was a long time coming, and the tears looked real, as did the emotion. Have we added these two to the consideration list for the next daytime Emmys yet? The best line was from Eva, who said that because her momma didn’t quit, she has a dad who sees her and is proud of her, and she is now living the life she had always wanted for her. We also had Vernon Dupree and the lil secret he's been carrying. Sharon is back in town, and Vernon snuck out to meet her at her hotel room. Sharon opened the door, wearing nothing more than a night gown and a smile. But things are not always what they seem on Beyond the Gates, and while it looks like more is going on and the dialogue between the two of them may suggest that as well, it will no doubt turn out to be a lovely surprise for Anita that her ‘Sister’ has arrived to help. On the off chance that Vernon is being…out of character, what a blow this will be, and it reeks of soapy nastiness, and I’m here for it.
