Welcome to the Beyond the Gates Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What Happened on Beyond the Gates

Joey and Vanessa can make quite the comedic duo together. The scene in the Fairmont Crest Country Club dining room was brilliant, and finally, someone put that nosy bag Anastasia in her place. Seriously, I’ve disliked her since the very first moment we saw her. I think that’s because we all know an Anastasia, and damn if they don't get on every last nerve. Just so entitled, and thinking that people want to hear their opinion on things…Grrrr. So it really made my day when Jopey wouldn't play her stupid games or entertain her nonsense and clapped back with a shock value statement, “I had him killed so I could have his wife all to myself.”

That was almost as good as when Vanessa went over and asked Anastasia about her connection with Diego (Whom it was awesome to see more of ) and she stammered through an excuse of Diego teaching her to play pickle ball (What the heck is pickle ball anyway? please, a kiwi needs to know) and Vanessa couldnt have had more fun delivering the line, “More like hide the pickle, am I right ?” if she tried. Great writing team, and the look on Anastasia's face made it all the better. It looked like she had sucked an orchard of lemons and couldn't have come to a more deserving person.
