Welcome to the Beyond the Gates Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What Happened on Beyond the Gates

Ok, so it seems I’m really going in on the Dupree women of late, but it’s hard not to. I didn't know what I was going to do the yapp on until I got to the final scene today. Nicole just standing there as Princess Kat got all indignant that her father recognized his other daughter and called her 'dad' as per his wishes was just a bit much for me. Then, she tells her father, “You'd better enjoy the one daughter you have left because you can’t have both.” Wow, ok, Kat, no real loss there. Niccole saw that situation going South and just stood there, with that look she gets on her face when Ted is about to come under fire, and smirked as it unfolded. Now that’s a pretty crappy parent right there, and a worse psychiatrist. Kat was way out of line, and everyone in the room knew it, except Kat. Then, to close, Nicole told Eva that Ted’s problems with his daughters are his to sort out is wild. You don't get to choose when and where you'll be a parent, according to how it will impact your ex-husband? Unless you live in a botanically pleasing Maryland suburb, behind the gates of Fairmont Crest.
