Beyond the Gates' How Bill might survive and Hayley might be her own undoing, details explored

On Beyond the Gates, in her impatience to turn Bill into a patient, Hayley is getting reckless and even starting to worry her partner in crime, Randy. Slow your roll, Hayley.

Crime pays when done right on Beyond the Gates

Hayley (Marquita Goings) wants to speed up the process of Bill (Timon Kyle Durett) getting sick and dying, so much that she’s poisoning everything within reach and starting to show signs that she’s no longer thinking with her head and more like her wallet. Sure, a ten-million-dollar payday with the life insurance policy is excellent, draining the college fund will add an impressive amount of money as well, but none of the money is good if you don't stay out of jail or worse, before you can spend it.

The search for the paperwork on the life insurance policy today was rushed, and Hayley was always on the back foot, offering an explanation for her digging and being intrusive in Bill’s office. Sooner rather than later, Bill or Caroline (Ellie Wang) or both are going to latch onto one of the weird things that Hayley says, or her excuse for something isn't going to add up. Then she is in for some real problems that Randy (Maurice P. Kerry) might not be able to dig her out of.

Caroline is ultra-smart and remembers everything and everyone, and too many situations —like a fake call with Caroline that's going to land Hayley in trouble. How it is that Bill hasn’t smelt a rat thus far is beyond me. It’s this lack of a real plan that has Hayley pushing too hard and too fast, making Bill drink cold tea or coffee and forcing him to eat bizarre, disturbing-looking cupcakes, which he’s going to notice. So Hayley is reaching for that little bottle in her purse every 20 seconds to put drops in everything. It can’t be long before she gives a family member a dose of whatever it is that she's using.

Randy can see his payday slipping away with Hayley's rush order on things; hopefully, he can get through to her before it’s too late. The man in black had better keep an eye on his cousin, and I wouldn't put it past her to drop Randy in it and have him take the fall for this plot if things don’t go her way. Loyalty among thieves is often just a loyalty to their need for you. When they no longer need you, they don’t need to be loyal either. After all, Hayley did say that this was going to be the last job, she was going to disappear after this and live a life of luxury somewhere, probably somewhere that doesn't have an extradition treaty with the United States.
