On Beyond the Gates, Chelsea’s broken heart is being taken care of by Dr. Madison Motgomery, and now Allison pops out of the woodwork, who’s a better match for our young Dupree?
Chelsea Hamilton: Beyond the Gates

Chelsea (RhonnieRose Mantilla) was suggested to like a couple from early on, Allison (Brianna Roberts) and Craig (Ja’min Walker). These three would gather for some no-strings fun, but it soon became apparent to Chelsea that she was more interested in her time with Alliosn than Craig. After summoning the courage to say that to Allison, the relationship soon ended as Allison couldn't be that person for Chelsea.
Surprises were in store for Chelsea as she soon spotted and connected with a new girl at Uptown, the very same new addition to Garland Memorial Hospital, Dr Madison Montgomery.
Madison Montgomery: Beyond the Gates

Madison is played by the very talented singer Kenjah McNeil. There was an immediate attraction between her and Chelsea, and the spark grew steadily. The new pair has already jump-started the relationship by jumping into bed together, and now Madison is aware that she often does this, skipping over the foundational parts of a relationship and going straight to full-on intimacy. Wanting to apply the brakes for a hot minute and not get too ahead of themselves has the newly minted couple at a slight pause, Chelsea loves where they are at and wants the heat to remain, as recently come out, Chelsea is still getting to grips as it were with her discovery that she is in love and with a woman. Does it look like Chelsea sees this as a slight rejection? It couldn't have come at a worse time. While on their first date, which sure had a few teething problems, Allison appeared at Uptown and made eyes at Chelsea, but none of those signals got past Madison.
Allison: Beyond the Gates

Allison enjoyed the one-on-one time with Chelsea the very last time they were together, and wouldn’t be against having it again if it wasn't for her husband, Craig. Allison told Chelsea that her husband was abusive and had a temper problem. He gave her an ultimatum: it was either Chelsea or him. To save her marriage, she ended things with Chesea a while back, now, and she hadn’t been seen since. What’s new? Well, she had seen Chelsea and Madison out on a date and decided to go over, only to rudely interrupt them. Madison said she needed to leave anyway and left Chelsea to talk to Allison, as it was obvious that the girl wasn’t about to leave. Madison returned not much later and saw Chelsea and Allison still talking, and looked none too happy.
Choices, choices, choices

This is where it’s going to get rough. Chelsea needs to make a choice. Allison represents a wild thing and all the intrigue and exciting things in a relationship, but is it long-term? What about Craig? Was Allison telling the truth? Craig's coil becomes a very big problem. There is also the chance that Allison just didn't like seeing Chelsea with another girl. Madison is very smart and represents stability and all the comfort parts of a relationship, with some heat and the element of being new. However, this pause in diving straight in together may make Chelsea yearn for the heat that she and Allison once shared. And there is the small matter of something just not sitting right about Madison. I have the feeling that there's more to this new addition, and she’s a part of something much bigger. This is a soap, after all, and new characters don't just arrive to be window dressing; take Kenneth, for example. As much as Allison excited Chelsea, there's just too much mess involved there IMO, with Craig and their marriage and what has happened there. Madison, although we know next to nothing about her, is a fresh start, and it’s better she’s kept close so we can figure her out, LOL.
