On Beyond the Gates, we had a mind-blowing episode on the 15th of October, and we got questions answered, but it also created a couple more. Let's explore the insanity.
Beyond the Gates: Through the Looking Glass

That's exactly how it feels. We just got done watching episode 151. Did we just cross over into some alternate reality? Wow. So not only are Randy (Maurice P. Kerry) and Hayley (Marquita Goings) cousins, they are business partners of a sort, too. The pair have been running the same scam up and down and across the country for a while now, and the same method each time has been paying off. Hayley makes a move on a rich man, establishes herself with them, and builds a lasting relationship, only to drain their accounts and vanish like the morning mist. Randy provides backup and support by acting as a procurer to Hayley. He gets her what she needs when she needs it, ensuring her plan can succeed.
For a while now, we have suspected Mrs Shamilton (had to steal that one!) was not entirely above board. Still, after the episode where Randy appeared at Uptown to take Hayley to the hospital under the guise of being Sammy the Samaritan, we knew something was up.
Questions answered, Questions asked

So the question of how Randy knew Hayley has now been answered: they are scam artist cousins, scuzzins, if you will. This raises the question: if Hayley isn’t her real name, what is it? We saw a raft of passports and a fake license on the poker table, none of which can be the real one, so who is she? And who is Randy? How was Bill (Timon Kyle Durett) chosen as a mark? It’s either a random chance that she saw him in an article somewhere or similar, or has one of Bill's lawsuits damaged Hayley and Randy’s family? The other question I wish to raise here is: when Randy returned to the casino and repaid Joey (Jon Lindstrom) with interest amounting to 20 thousand dollars, was it Hayley who fronted him the cash? With this being just the beginning and Bill's birthday treat about to fall into the wrong hands, according to the spoilers for this week, the drama is far from over. Someone else may end up ingesting this poison! We have the incredible Greg Vaughan joining us on screen on Beyond the Gates, too. His identity is secret for now, but I think he’s about to become integral to this storyline.
You can watch Beyond the Gates weekdays on CBS or stream live or on-demand on Paramount Plus.
