What happened on Beyond the Gates
On Beyond the Gates, Eva got revenge on Kat for endangering her job by making it look like she was about to tell Ted how Kat had downplayed his license renewal to get Eva in trouble. After Eva told Tomás how she had been undermined, they kissed, and Tomás told Eva about Kat being a virgin. Tomás and Eva nearly made love, but she stopped because she didn't want to fulfill Kat's expectations of her. Eva friend-zoned Tomás after she saw how upset he was over Kat catching them together. Kat and Tomás argued about Eva – then she gave her virginity to him, but she seemed to regret it afterwards.
Jacob questioned Nicole after Leslie filed a complaint against her for choking her. As the only credible witness, Ted refused to make a statement and had a hard time believing that Leslie's injuries were as bad as she said they were. Leslie let Ted know about Kat's sabotage of Eva. Nicole confronted Leslie and confirmed her suspicion that Leslie had used makeup to create her neck abrasions.
Chelsea took Allison to the hospital after Allison had bloodied her forehead in a fall. Allison later admitted to Chelsea that her husband, Craig, had caused the injury, but when Chelsea suggested that Allison retain Bill as her lawyer, Allison freaked out on her. After Madison shared with Chelsea her belief that something was off with Allison, Chelsea cut ties with her ex.
Dani let Pamela and Andre photograph her for a modeling comeback test shoot, but Dani still wasn't sure how she felt about returning to the runway at her age. When Derek came to visit Shanice at the hospital, Ashley tried to make Derek jealous by loudly coming on to Andre, but both Shanice and Derek picked up on her game. Sharon and Tracy returned to Fairmont Crest to convince Anita to do the reunion concert despite their spat; Anita remained stubborn until Vernon arbitrated between the singers.
Nicole railed at Ted after she learned that he had secretly performed plastic surgery on “Kenneth” following his failed hate crime against Martin and Vernon. Ted scoffed that Nicole was more outraged by the deception than she was glad he had helped save their son from a prison sentence; Nicole cryptically announced to Ted that she was ready to take “next steps.” Dani learned the truth about Martin and persuaded Nicole to make up with her. Martin told a horrified Nicole about “Kenneth”'s death; Nicole offered to take her son on as a patient to help him heal. Samantha and Tyrell went to Nicole to get her to help patch up Martin and Smitty's marriage and felt that Nicole was being as evasive about Martin's complete story as their fathers were.
Hayley presented Bill with stills from her first “ultrasound,” but backpedaled when he wanted her to undergo a second one. Bill noticed that Hayley didn't look pregnant. Hayley made a mysterious phone call, during which she expressed worry about the recipient. After Bill's preoccupation made him miss an important communication from the designer suing ChelseaKat for copyright infringement, Chelsea wondered if something was wrong. Bill told a panicked Ted that “Kenneth” was dead and assured him that Marcel and Elon would muddy the waters. Nicole called Bill a murderer in front of Hayley and flamed him for causing psychological damage to her son. Hayley asked Naomi if she thought Bill was capable of murder; after Naomi instructed Hayley to ask Bill directly, Bill told Hayley part of Martin's story.

Jacob argued with Naomi over his pursuing investigations into Martin and Nicole. Naomi was told how both “Kenneth” and his brother were dead because of Martin, and realized she'd have to hide the information from Jacob; Naomi was crushed upon finding out about Bill's involvement. Jacob wanted to find out why Smitty had abandoned his article on Marcel, but could get no answers from Martin. After Jacob found an address connected to the phone number on June's photo, Naomi decided to follow up on it.
