Here is your Beyond the Gates weekly recap for the episodes that aired June 9th through 13th, 2025.
What happened on Beyond the Gates

On Beyond the Gates, Leslie got nowhere trying to persuade Tomás to get Kat off her back, while Kat planted Leslie's incriminating motorcycle helmet and gloves back in her apartment. Both Leslie and Jacob were suspicious when Jacob found the items during Jacob's second search of the place. Leslie was sure Eva had set her up – however, Eva assured her mother that she hadn't and still loved her. Kat was thrilled when Jacob's forensic expert was able to confirm that the jacket Kat found was worn by the motorcyclist who ran Laura off the road, but when a judge wouldn't grant Jacob permission to swab Leslie for DNA, Kat recruited Mona, who met with Leslie under false pretenses and tricked her into wiping her face with a napkin. Jacob was upset over Kat's tactics, yet after a talk with Marcel about the occasional necessity of breaking rules, Jacob changed his mind and realized that there would be grounds to arrest Leslie if the napkin DNA matched what was on the helmet.
In the aftermath of Bill's stroke, Naomi and Chelsea supported and thanked Hayley for getting their father to the hospital so quickly; even Dani had a moment where she wondered why she had hated Hayley in the first place as the women in Bill's life gathered around him. Though Bill's chances of recovery were good, he bristled at the idea of having to do physical therapy for the next 6-8 months; the gruff lawyer met his match in PT specialist Shanice. When Bill continued to resist his doctor's orders, Hayley showed him a slideshow featuring important moments of their relationship, plus mock-ups of future scenes with their children, which motivated Bill as Hayley had planned.
Eva swore to Nicole that she hadn't helped the returning Laura as a way of insinuating herself back into Nicole's life. When Nicole saw Eva's remorse over ruining her marriage, she accepted Eva's apology. Laura saw that Nicole missed Eva and counseled Eva to be open should Nicole decide to rebuild a relationship with her. Eva worried about Kat's reaction when Ted offered her Kat's old job serving as manager of his clinic, but Eva ultimately accepted the post.
Anita copped an attitude when Tracy and Sharon returned to her door, but after Tracy lobbied for the reunion to happen and Sharon expressed a willingness to put the past behind them, The Articulettes were reborn, and the trio raced off to their old neighborhood in Chicago, where they started, to begin rehearsals. Nicole, who had wanted to confide in Anita about her troubles with Ted, was nearly reduced to tears when she learned that her mom was out of town, so Dani had an initially reluctant Nicole break cups as a form of therapy, which helped Nicole feel better. Ted's friend and associate, Carlton, warned Ted that Nicole would move on if Ted didn't step up his attempts to patch things up with her, implying that he would make a play for Nicole himself.
Dani admitted that something in her had broken after her divorce from Bill that she didn't know how to fix; Andre offered to help and even suggested he could make an honest woman of her. Andre held Dani's hand in public; Dani worried that she'd end up hurting him. Vernon nearly caught Dani and Andre in bed together. Afterwards, Andre showed up at Dani's guest house, not knowing Chelsea and Kat were moving in, and covered his tracks so badly that the cousins figured out that Andre and Dani were having a fling. Dani warned Tomás not to hurt Kat.
Chelsea was shocked to learn that Bill's doctor was Madison, the woman who had rejected her at Uptown. Madison was cold to Chelsea at first, but soon warmed up to her, asking Chelsea out to dinner. Ashley was upset when Andre took Dani to breakfast, but more so when she and Derek couldn't seem to get in sync. After Derek changed his plans to take Ashley out, she was sure he was about to break up with her; instead, Derek asked Ashley to marry him.
Martin became upset when he learned that Smitty was doing a piece on police detective Marcel. The congressman was so disturbed by a flashback he had while speaking to an employee that he told Nicole about his dreams. Vernon was horrified that Martin had gone to someone outside the circle of people who knew Martin's secret. During a moment alone at the country club, the mystery wait staffer, Kenneth, told Martin, “Let's see what color's your money” – the exact phrase Martin kept hearing in his dreams.
Beyond the Gates airs weekdays on CBS and streams on Paramount Plus.
