In Wednesday's episode, Leslie (Trisha Mann-Grant) calls on Naomi (Arielle Prepetit) for help with a new endeavor, which leaves Samantha shut out. Leslie has taken the idea that Eva (Ambyr Michelle) and Samantha (Najah Jackson) discussed and is going to run with it all the way. Now that Leslie is hyper-involved, Samantha feels like her idea has been stolen from her. Good luck trying to rein in Leslie and hand it back to Samantha. The only good takeaway from this is that the idea will probably get off the ground faster.

On Wednesday, June, (Jasmine Burke) receives a heartwarming invitation. Will this be a family Christmas with her, Martin(Brandon Claybon), Smitty (Mike Manning), and their children? All roads point to June feeling great and accepted into the family.

In Wednesday's episode, Ted (Keith D. Robinson) gives Shanice (Ernestine Johnson) something that freaks her out. Shanice is scared of birds, but that hardly seems like a likely gift. Stay tuned, soap fans, this could be the surprise relationship we never knew we needed.

In Wednesday's episode, after some words of advice from Jacob (Jibre Hordges) and Eva, Izaiah's (David Lami Friebe) decision leaves Elon (Malachi Malik) surprised. Is Izaiah going to stick around? Will he have a family Christmas with his mom and dad? It seems unlikely that he would change his mind and go into the police force like the rest of his family.

In Wednesday's episode, Nicole and Carlton's indoor date heats up. Carlton was away for Thanksgiving and missed out on seeing Nicole and her plus one, Kial Rollins (Greg Vaughan), but he’s back, and he’s wasting no time in getting back into his groove with Nicole. For their date, they decide to stay indoors. This does not stop them in any way from acting upon their desires, and they won't have to worry about turning up the thermostat; they heat the place just nicely on their own.
