The week of Christmas is upon us, and it’s going to be a doozy, albeit a short week. We have two days of repeats for Thursday and Friday. (25th and 26th December) But let’s get into it! In Mondays episode, Leslie (Trisha Mann-Grant) explains her earth-shattering news about Vernon (Clifton Davis) to Ted (Keith D. Robinson). This is going to blow Ted’s mind. How could the incomparable Vernon Dupree be cheating on his wife Anita? Ted is going to want some sort of proof regarding this.

In Mondays episode, Anita (Tamara Tunie) struggles to process devastating information. The diagnosis hit hard for both Anita and the viewers at home. Anita is still carrying this burden without her family's support as she processes this, hoping her family will slowly start to figure out that all is not well with the head of the Dupree family.

Trimming of the trees

In Mondays episode, Dani (Karla Mosley) and Martin (Brandon Claybon) host competing tree-trimming parties. This festive event will divide the families, but only in their efforts to have the best and most beautiful tree in Fairmont Crest. I can’t imagine any side not doing their utmost best here, and let’s hope drama doesn't get in the way!

It’s been a while since we have seen Regina, played by Jacinte Blankenship. In Monday’s episode, June (Jasmine Burke) reunites with her sister. The last time we saw the two together was when Naomi (Arielle Prepetit) and Jacob were trying to figure out who the two children were in that old photo that June treasured. The two sisters were reunited at Orphey Gene’s, and we learnt all about their history together and how Regina blamed June for just giving up the two children when the truth was, June put them up for adoption because she knew she couldn’t give them the life they deserved. After all that was put behind them once the truth was revealed, this reunion should be one filled with happiness.

In Monday’s episode, Naomi is furious with Jacob (Jibre Hordges). This is disappointing after the journey back to themselves after they fell out hard over the decision to be parents or not, when a false positive pregnancy test threw them for a loop. Most of the time, Naomi has been furious with Jacob when he chooses to uphold the law and do his job over Dupree's family loyalty. Will it be the case again?
