Here are your Beyond the Gates spoilers for next week: Here’s a look ahead at the episodes we’ll see from Monday, December 29th, 2025, to Friday, January 2nd, 2026.

Beyond the Gates: Mardi Gras comes to Fairmont Crest | Image: CBS

This coming week, we see Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie) focusing on fun, family, and togetherness, and what better way to do that than to bring a little of the Mardi Gras spirit into Fairmont Crest. The costumes are grand and the props grander still. Martin (Brandon Claybon), Smitty (Mike Manning), Chelsea (RhonniRose Mantilla), Naomi (Arielle Prepetit), Nicole (Daphnée Duplaix), Dani (Karla Mosley), Andre (Sean Freeman), Anita, and Vernon (Clifton Davis) turn the Dupree mansion into New Orleans! Proving you really can’t keep a Dupree woman down.

Ted and Andre

Uncle Ted (Keith D. Robinson) dispenses some sage advice to young Andre regarding Dani’s ex, Bill Hamilton (Timon Kyle Durett). Ted tells Andre that Bill needs to stay in his lane. Andre asks his uncle what happens if he doesn't, and Ted replies, “You put him there.” Andre has concerns over Bill inserting himself into the lives of his and his wife, and while those concerns are valid, getting that point across to a man who doesn't like him or want him there, won’t be easy.

Vanessa and Joey

Vanessa (Lauren Buglioli) runs into the back room of the casino and straight into the arms of her man. Joey holds onto Vanessa and asks her what's wrong and whether someone has hurt her. Whatever people want to say about Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom), they can’t know he doesn't care or won't protect Vanessa, now that he has her all to himself.

Marcel and Leslie

This is one pairing that no one would have seen coming, and Season Two is going to show much more than just words between these two. Next week, Marcel (Darryl W. Handy) tells Leslie (Trisha Mann-Grant) that Armstrong isn’t someone that she wants to cross, and smooth as silk, Leslie tells Marcel that neither is she.

Ted and Nicole

In Nicole's office, we see Ted and Nicole having a civil conversation, and Ted tells Nicole that he hopes that this marks the beginning of a new phase for them. It won't be long before Nicole hears or sees Ted and Shanice together.

Chelsea, Naomi, and Kat (Colby Muhammed) are talking at their studio, and the conversation has turned to lab results, BRCA genes, and diagnosis. Kat, however, has heard enough and says that if she has to hear about genes and lab tests one more time, she is going to have a breakdown. Sooner or later, Kat is going to reckon with her chances, and this is where we could see a change in her character.

Dani receives a call from her sister Nicole that sounds dire. Dani says,” The lab results aren’t in, are they?” Nicole, sounding worse, says, “They are.” Dani asks what hers had said… This bodes poorly for the Dupree girls and worse for the start of season two, but drama is what we are here for.
