Beyond the Gates: Izaiah wonders if Hayley is Bill's niece | Image: CBS

In the offices of Bill Hamilton Esq. Bill (Timon Kyle Durett) greets Izaiah (David Lami Friebe) like a long-lost son. It’s all smiles until, once introduced to Hayley (Marquita Goings), Izaiah asks if she is Bill’s niece. Bill quickly corrects Izaiah, which gives Hayley a little awkward feeling until she gets a better look at this guy, then she is all smiles. Caroline (Ellie Wang) watches all of this, taking it all in. Someone looks very interested in the young Hawthorne.

Side Quests

Hayley is at the Fairmont Crest Country Club and on the phone, presumably to Randy (Maurice K. Perry), saying she is on a side quest to get to know the Chief of Police’s fit and fine younger son better. This cannot go well for Randy as he thinks Hayley is getting distracted from the task at hand, which is also his big payday.

Secret Meetings

Vernon (Clifton Davis), who says he wants to keep these meetings a secret, sure has a strange way of doing so, meeting with Sharon at Uptown, where half of Fairmont Crest frequent, with someone as easily recognizable as Sharon Winger (Bonita Brisker) from the Articulettes. Vernon takes off his brown leather jacket, sits down at the table, and tells Sharon they cannot let these meetings get back to Anita (Tamara Tunie). Good luck with that.

What did he say?

Back at the casino, we have Joey and Vanessa chatting, and Vanessa remarks that Joey is addicted, and Joey quips that he didn't love her. Then, in a carefully done splice, we see Vanessa ask, “What did he say as she points backwards. Was that directed at Randy, and has he put his foot in it again?

Honeymoon time

It’s time for Dani and Andre to embark on a much anticpated honeymoon. The two strand close and hold each other as Dani grins saying,” Its Honeympoon time in three, two, one and they kiss. Andre is looking so very sure and happy. Please let this go smoothly.
