That chapter of our lives is closed, Nicole (Daphnée Duplaix says to Ted (Keith D. Robinson). Orphey Genes is the scene where Ted and Nicole maybe finally put the past behind them and move on (just not with each other). Is this really how it ends? The pair who have been Faiormont Crest's most iconic couple since the start are finally over? But with that come new chapters, along with all the soapiness of new relationships and drama for us.

What we both want

Things are really getting tense here for the Hawthorne couple. Naomi (Arielle Prepetit)and Jacob (Jibre Hordges) are at home, and the conversation turns once again to what they are going to do about this pregnancy. Naomi tells Jacob there is a fundamental difference in what they both want out of life. As Naomi starts to get really upset, she looks at Jacob and tells him that she doesn't know where this leaves us! Another couple in strife, can Jacob accept that Naomi and he won't become parents, or will this fracture be challenging to repair?

Randy, or shall we call him Sammy

Vanessa (Lauren Buglioli) and Dani (Karla Mosley) are heading out on the town and stopping by Uptown, who else should be there but the man in black himself? Randy (Maurice P. Kerry) is entertaining some female company. Vanessa and Dani both spy Randy sitting there, and Vanessa says, "Talk about coincidences, I know him as…" The two ladies speak at the same time, with Dani calling him Sammy and Vanessa saying Randy. They both stop and stare at each other, wondering why there are two different names. Sounds like these two have to have a conversation and fast.

Care to explain yourself?

Back at the casino, Joey has some questions to ask Randy. Turning to him, he says, “Wanna explain what you're up to with Bill Hamilton's wife?” Randy is frozen on the spot. He'd better come up with a reasonable explanation for this, or things are going to go sideways fast.

Yet again, we have a great scene coming to us at Uptown next week. Eva strolls over to a table with a handsome young black man sitting there and says to this gentleman, I’m Eva.” “Izaiah,” replies the man as he stands to greet her. Eva closes out the spoilers by saying to Izaiah, “Or maybe I'll see you at one of those hot spots.” We know Detective Hawthorne has a younger brother, played by newcomer to BTG, David Lami Friebe. The black sheep of the family is in town! Another great week is in the making, soap fans!
