What to Expect on Beyond the Gates

While other couples are in turmoil and have a shifty other half, in Tuesday's episode, Eva (Ambyr Michelle) and Izaiah's (David Lami Friebe) connection deepens. Even though Tomas (Alex Alegria) has made it clear that he loves Kat (Colby Muhammed), he still has feelings for Eva, and this should get interesting.

Andre (Sean Freeman), Eva, and Leslie (Trisha Mann-Grant) are the only ones who still really want to be in his company. Still, in Tuesday’s episode, Ted (Keith D. Robinson) unexpectedly becomes a shoulder to cry on. With Winterfest coming up and all the stress that goes along with it, there’s a slim chance it could even be Nicole. I would be astonished if it were Kat.

In Tuesday’s episode, Smitty (Mike Manning) and June (Jasmine Burke) have an overdue heart-to-heart while Samantha's (Najah Jackson) punishment causes discomfort for her entire family. June has a good heart, and we have seen her dispense excellent, timely advice to Samanatha lately. Smitty having a heart-to-heart with her will help overcome any remaining obstacles. Samanatha being on lockdown in the house will be interesting to watch as it starts impacting the entire house. Tyrell (Jaden Lucas Miller), talk to your sister!

Secret Rendezvous, but still seen

In Tuesday’s episode, Vernon (Clifton Davis) and Sharon (Bonita Brisker) meet under watchful eyes. Seriously, it’s not a secret spot that you’re meeting at; in fact, it’s so overt it's covert. But still, someone sees the two together, but will they see anything they deem newsworthy to report back to Anita? I still stand by the fact that I don't believe that Vernon is having an affair; it is much more likely that this is all a surprise for Anita. But being that sort of neighborhood, all it takes is one person like Anatasia (Timeca M. Seretti), the Fairmont Crest's ‘curtain-twitcher’, and everyone from NYC to L.A. will know about the scandalous meeting of Vernon and Sharon.
