What to Expect on Beyond the Gates
All week, we have been racing headlong into Friday, and what a day we are going to have. In Friday's episode, Samantha (Najah Jackson) pleads with Smitty (Mike Manning) and Nicole (Daphnée Duplaix) for help, while Martin (Brandon Claybon) and Kat (Colby Muhammed) have a blowout argument. Martin is going to punish Samantha for her part in the Nathan (Brennan Suttle) incident on the couch, and whether this punishment is fair or not will affect the outcome. Martin is going to cut Samantha off from her role in ChelseaKat. Samantha says she hates her dad and walks out. Oh boy, this is going to be a good one. And then we have Martin going off at Kat about the ideas that led to Samantha inviting Nathan over to her house, and what the consequences could have been. Not shaping up to be a good day for Samantha or Kat. Will Smitty and Nicole be able to help? Or is Martin's mind made up?

Stirring the pot is what she does; she’s very good at it, and here we go again. In Friday's episode, Shanice (Ernestine Johnson) stirs the pot with Ted (Keith D. Robinson). Thinking we could get Shanice to mind her own business is like telling the rain not to be wet. Love it or hate it, it adds more drama than you can poke a stick at. Let’s just hope Ted doesn't rise to the baiting and make any situation worse, after all, there was an amicable scene with Nicole and Ted when they discussed the Winterfest event.

Kat, Eva (Ambyr Michelle), and Ted are having a conversation at the dreaded nurses’ station, and just as Nicole rounds the corner, Eva calls Ted ‘Dad’ and all hell breaks loose. Kat, feeling wounded demands to know what Eva just said, and Eva repeats herself. Kat has a meltdown and crashes out, saying she hopes Ted enjoys the one daughter he has left, as he cannot have both of them. Cannot wait for Nicole to weigh in on this LOL. In Friday's episode, Eva's declaration drives a deeper wedge between her father and sister.
