What to Expect on Beyond the Gates
In Tuesday's episode, Anita (Tamara Tunie) and Vernon (Clifton Davis) have a long-overdue discussion with Martin (Brandon Claybon) and Smitty (Mike Manning). Here's hoping this is an apology to the couple for not having them over, for not helping them work through this together, and for giving Martin all the attention. Or could this be an apology for the fact that they were all a part of the secrets that Martin was keeping from Smitty; therefore, all of them bear a little responsibility for how things played out. Only one way to find out, soap fans: tune in to Tuesday's episode.
And just like that, it becomes war
This has been a long time coming; despite Nicole (Daphnée Duplaix) being able to choose whomever she likes to date, it would have been respectful of Carlton (Robert Christopher Riley) to at least have a conversation with Ted (Keith D. Robinson) about his intentions toward the now-divorced Nicole. Dani (Karla Mosley) fuelled Nicole up, and now she’s going to flaunt this new relationship in Ted’s face, and of course, Ted is going to have some things to say about that. Spoilers show there are some great lines between the two, and in Tuesday's episode, Ted and Carlton go to war. Are we going to see the end of meek and mild Ted Richardson? There is a lot of anger to come out of this man and carlton is going to bear the brunt of it.

Spoilers show Samantha (Najah Jackson) delivering menus at Uptown, overhearing a conversation between Kat (Colby Muhammed) and Chelsea (RhonniRose Mantilla) that is rather more adult-oriented. Kat is busily telling Chelsea how Tomas (Alec Alegria) simply cannot get enough of her at the moment, which inspires young Samantha to make some really poor judgment calls. Samantha is going to have her boyfriend over to her place while her parents are out, and the two plan on getting hot and heavy. This cannot go well, and as spoilers show, it will be a setting for some fireworks —not the good kind. In Tuesday's episode, Chelsea and Kat's candid conversation causes someone close to them to enact an impulsive plan.
